Arthur H. Smith Elementary was constructed in 1952-53. The school was named for Arthur Henry Smith, a teacher and administrator in the Grandview School District for 24 years. A. H. Smith Elementary was remodeled in 2001. This project added a new building to our existing structure which is called the modular building or 300 wing. The school now consists of 26 classrooms, two computer labs, one multi-purpose room, two portable classrooms, and large library and office areas.
